About Buma Music in Motion
BMIM features an award show and a conference, where exchanging knowledge and hard-won experience, being inspired and maintaining your network are the focus points.
Buma Music in Motion is more than that, under the BMIM Connects umbrella, panels and workshops, masterclasses and matchmaking sessions are organized at Musexpo Los Angeles, Cannes Lions (Embassy of Dutch Creativity), Eurosonic Noorderslag, the Netherlands Film Festival and the International Film Festival Rotterdam.
Buma Music in Motion brings together the very best minds and talents in the creative industries. Over the past 8 years, some of the world’s most influential composers, music media executives, producers, synch agents, music supervisors, creative directors and many other top professionals have participated, including: composers Hauschka (Lion), Dickon Hinchliffe (Peaky Blinders), Cliff Martinez (Springbreakers, Drive), Martijn Schimmer (The Voice of Holland), Ilan Eshkeri (The Sims), Dustin O’Halloran (Lion), Ari Pulkkinen (Angry Birds); and Adidas’ Daniel Cross; Bobby Gumm, music supervisor for trailers like Gravity, Frozen, Godzilla; the legendary Professor Thomas Dolby, musician, entrepreneur and futurist; Netflix’ Andy Lykens; Sony Playstation Music Supervisor Duncan Smith; Dexter music supervisor Gary Calamar; Henry Daw from Microsoft; Brandon Young from Activision and many more.

Getting registered
To attend Buma Music in Motion as a conference delegate you need to be registered.
Getting there
You can reach Amsterdam in a number of different ways, and we are happy to help with both your arrival and departure from the city. Whether you will travel by plane, car or train Amsterdam is easy to access from all around the globe.
Public transport from Amsterdam Central station
Follow the signs to the ferry. Please take ‘Buiksloterwegveer’ ferry which will depart every 5 minutes. When you leave the ferry you can see Tolhuistuin at the left side.
The area is also accessible by car but we strongly advise public transportation.
By car
There is a parking area behind Eye which costs €1,- for 20 minutes. Please navigate to Tolhuisweg 5. Or park your vehicle next to Amsterdam Central Station at Parking Garage IJDock for €10,- a day.

The conference location will open its doors at 09.45. The registration desk will be open from 09.45 – 20.00.

WI-FI internet access is available throughout the whole building.

Food & drinks
Drinks are being served at the bar in the foyer next to the Concertzaal.
Wardrobe
A secured wardrobe is available (until 22.00) at the ground floor, across the registration desk. The organization accepts no liability for damage or loss property.

All conference panels have a limited capacity, access may be denied.
